Mexico to defend illegal immigrants in US,...

before, the International Tribunal, the UN recently voted on.

http://www.thenewsmexico.com/noticia.asp?id=22888

This story is a few days old but, it's got to chap your hide..

Why american employers continue to employee illegal immigrants, is a mystery to me..

Democrats, are once again wanting to raise the minimum pay scale; it's just another way of raising taxes.

This kills the small business owner, and is a windfall for unskilled workers, who have no interest in ever learning any skills to earn more money.

How about unskilled illegals?? all this will accomplish is higher prices on goods; it doesn't garauntee better quality.

Congress does get the message, or WE the people haven't made ourselves clear enough.

We the tax payor, are fighting battles on all sides, with no help from our own government.

No end to it..

Why do American companys hire illegals? So they can pay them less than minimum wage of course! Benefits? Not if they don't have to.Those cheap laborers will never demand benefits like you and I have,or the I.N.S will be notified of their whereabouts. When American workers are willing to get off the Welfare rolls and actually have to work, maybe then all the illegal migrant workers picking the tomatoes we eat will vanish. But I assume too much. Why work if you don't have to? Better to sell drugs and then blame "the system" for their misfortune, right?

Only in America a homeless war veteran slept in a cardboard box while a draft dodger slept in the white house...NEVER AGAIN!!

I speak from direct experience as I work in a Southwest Border State. We are being OVERRUN with Illegal Aliens.

My squads are consistently finding loads of illegals. It is a pathetic situation and must stop. The general public has no real clue of the scope of this problem. Whatever the intentions and/or character of the Illegal Aliens we must stop the influx into this country.

NOTHING is to be gained by this except a strain on services/taxpayers and a dilution of the american culture.

For those who say there is little or no cost in allowing this invasion I defer to my wife who works in an Emergency Room. Illegals go there in droves for routine treatment/minor medical care and GUESS who foots the bill??????????????????????

I feel beter now after venting

So, is the answer to this delima, to legalize tomorrow, whats illegal, today?

Hows, legalizing, drugs, different from legalizing the llegals?

Only dreamers would argue that by legalizing both, the problems caused by both, will be gone, tomorrow.

It seems to me, the american public is sooo, confused.

Legalizing the flood of aliens across our border is NOT an answer in my book. I'm for holding folks accountable for violating immigration and employment law. I'm not a fan of the Federal Government but protecting the borders is one of its only real duties and it has failed miserably.

Lets call it what it is, a "peaceful invasion" and quit allowing it to happen. Find who's here illegally, ship them off to where they came from and close the Border as best we can with the necessary resourses. Period.

    Enough is enough.

So I guess now we are starting to realize how the Native Americans felt when they saw the herds and herds of immigrants pouring across their lands and eliminating the buffalo and taking all the best land for grazing. WOW...somebody once said payback is hell...I guess we are experiencing it now. Beach

P.S.I guess we are going to have to start learning Spanish because if some calculations I recently saw are correct then Hispanics will make up the majority of the populations in the states of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oklahoma, and Nevada by 2020 and that's only 18 years away.....Does anybody know how to say, "Where is GunBroker" in Spanish? Say Beach,

I know your partially american indian, I'am curious, do you live on a reservation? Reason why I ask, is I worked for an indian owned construction firm on their reservation and they were doing quite a bit of building, do to their succesfull casino operation.

Anyhow, they employ quite a few mexican immigrants, whether they were legal or illegal I had no knowledge of, but, I remember thinking that if they were illegal, they were safe as bug in a rug, since the reservations are considered sovereign, and the federal government I'm sure would do nothing to enforce immigrations laws.

The statement concerning the language is true, luckily, spanish is probably the easiest language to learn, the alphabet is almost identical to english except for additional cc, ch, rr, and a few other letters which emphasize the letter being pronounced.

Were in for a good ride on this issue, as It seems to me liberals seem to want more freedom to do what they want and even will fight for the same rights for illegals, afterall they are the ones behind this movement to give them amnesty and conservatives seem to joining them.

    In my opinion thats foolishnes.

The answer to the problem is to control our borders. This is not racism, or any other 'cism. Simply put: control our borders and stop the invasion or become a state of Mexico.

Turbo, no Native American here...I'm a first generation born in America American. My father's family got off the boat in Canada from Ireland and they came to the US just in time for my grandfather to join the Navy in WW1, my father joined for WWII. My mom's side are still all in England. I might have some partial Native American progeny....but am real uncertain on that one.

In any case your question about illegals working on the reservation is a good one..and I sure don't know the answer. Beach

If we're not careful the Mexicans will take back everything we stole from them. If they had had better imigration control in Texas
& California we would be the illegals now. Those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

    Gruntled,

    quote:
... the Mexicans will take back everything we stole from them.

Your quoting the words that have become the mantra of liberal hispanic movement in KA. except it says "what was stolen from us."

I think everyone that is on this wagon trying to get the Federal Government to allow freedom to do anything anybody wnts to is making a big mistake.

Since womens right, homosexual rights, civil rights for blacks, have been recognized a class rights, illegals will get special rights under a hispanic movement for hispanic rights, out of this libertrarian agenda seeking for total legalization of anything and everything.

Mark my words, we will be worse off with any relaxation of existing laws, in the interest of individual freedoms.

All because, people are starting to scream for doing away with laws rather the enforcement of the existing laws.

    Beach,
    Donde? esta es Gunbroker.

The problem will not be fixed until the government wishes to solve it. IE: 15 time smugglers who are not prosecuted, Illegals returned to Mexico without a criminal record. In most cases the INS can't even seize a vehicle used in smuggling.

Border Security is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. In fact: U.S. Customs and U.S. Immigration Inspectors are not even considered Primary Law Enforcement Officers. They don't recieve the same benefits given to Border Patrol Agents, Special Agents. Postal Inspectors or even Amtrak Police. Just something to think about next time the Government talks about those on the frontline.

I predict that the American public, in general, will never demand that the Government get a grip on this. What are the leaders of the US thinking to continue allowing this?

There will just be a vocal group, such as some of us, who will be continually branded as "racist" or "right wing" or "paranoid. We will be told that the flood of Illegals benefit the USA and we shouldn't worry because they will assimilate to the "American Culture" as Legal Imigrants from many countries have done in the past--B*ll Sh*t. All things are now provided in Spanish i.e. TV, Newspapers, Voting, Signs, even large retail establishments provide Spanish signage. There is NO incentive to learn English or assimilate to our culture and many make no effort to do so. I see more Mexican Flags displayed on vehicles etc.. than I do US Flags/symbols in my area. Cinco De Mayo (Mexican Independance Day) has bigger celebrations/parades here than the Fourth of July. Where does the allegiance lie???

As I said in previous posts I have first hand knowledge of how large the problem is as I and my troops are in it waist deep EVERY DAY. It doesn't end and it is way larger than you realize.

We are a nation of sheep on a slippery slope and who knows what is at the bottom.

Turbo: Two questions. 1. How did we obtain Texas & Kalifornia?
    2. What part of stole from Mexico do you have a problem with?

Yes, butif Mexico still had Kalif. N.Mex and Texas its citizens would be crossing the borders of Oregon, Colorado and Oklahoma to get out of Mexico. No matter where the white man goes, certain peoples follow him and curse him.

    Dearest dis-gruntled,

I don't know what issue your trying to, raise or even make of my statement; I quoted your, quote where you stated "we" (refering to the US. stealing)"from them", (refering to the mexico) while refering to Texas and Kalifornia.

I had previously posted from another site an article, where they (liberal mexican activists in this country) plainly state their objectives of taking back what was stolen from them.

Which, we both obviously agree with.

Whether Texas or Kalifornia, were purchased from or, taken from, makes, no never mind to me, today; the fact is that they are states of the US of A, and there is border that ought to be respected, defended, guarded. and sealed off at the will of the people.

The US of A, is not mexico however, it is rapidly becoming hispanic.

By the way, if I wanted to study history, I wouldn't seek out a mail carrier, but, I would consult a historian. Naturally.

Turbo: Seems as though we have a failure to communicate.
The point I wish to make is that we are repeating the same mistake that Mexico made. The Mexicans did not restrict immigration from
the United States into these areas & the immigrants then seized
    control & secceeded from Mexico.
I don't suggest that these states will rejoin Mexico but the culture, values & the political control will certainly pass into their hands.

    Gruntled,

Mexico never had the wherewithall to control borders in the first place, California, Nuevo Mexico were spanish land grants originally claimed and settled by Spain in the building of missions and pueblos, even after independence mexico never really saw them as belonging to mexico, the owners of these land grants, were aristocrats from the upper crust and military generals who had served the King of Spain and mexico, who were given these by royal decree, in some cases these owners sold their estates, in other cases squatters took them from the owners, and as you correctly have deduced, these sqatters decided to create the Sate of California which joined the union.

If you've ever visited a hispanic barrio in this country like east LA, or even little havana in Fla, you'll really get the feel for the central and south american flavor of the culture, they don't have to take these states and join mexico or any other country with them, these immigrants are going to make mexico, out of these states, and although these areas thrive in business and are well populated, they are also welfare dependent areas, which will become more populated by illegals, till they burst at the seems.

I can see your perceptive, I can see you understand the problem, your problem is communicating and reconciling the solution your views propose.

Libertarianism isn't going to solve the problem, freedom from government and abolishing laws, while promoting anarchism and open borders is what the third party wants and claims as the official position, furthmore, they also support globalism, this will lead to more chaos.

So if your really concerned, why support a party, whose official position goes against your personal position?

That makes YOU a loser two ways.

Is it just me, or is Gruntled seriously in the wrong place?

Based on his posts on several topics, I can say with just about perfect certainty that he is a 100% bleeding-heart Liberal.

You can do as you please, but I'll remind you that most of us rational folks dont look kindly on Liberals in sheep's clothing.

For anyone interested check out Americans For Immigration Control, Inc. PO Box 1845 Merrifield, VA 22116-8045. I've been with them for about a year now. Sure their like the NRA, SAF and GOA but its worth a few pennys to process the surveys they come out with. Like all lobbing orgs. the more the merrier.

It is very sad to see someone so very young that is so intolerant, close-minded & with such tunnel vision. To suggest that someone who
has differing opionions from yours should not be allowed to express them is shocking. I for one truely enjoy the free exchange of ideas
& unlike you I am not afraid of engaging those who are my mental superiors.
