Where is this office?

I was not aware that the constitution provided for an 'Office of the President Elect'. Gee...I know I've read the thing, a couple of times. Could someone refresh my memory?

At first I just thought that our future messiah POTUS was just attempting to appear important, then I remembered the coins, and plates with his image. I must have over looked something.

I mean...He wouldn't try to BS the public, would he?

Does someone have the address to this office? I want to drop him a note?

I am trying to figure out why he is running his stupid head in public, and why anyone is listening. Until January 20, he is just another unemployed guy.

HEY, OBAMA!!! SHUT UP UNTIL YOU ARE SWORN IN. You will have plenty of time to destroy the country once you start getting paid to do so.

The "change" he said that was going to happen is in three steps.

    1. The policies he said prior to the election are void, He " Changed" his mind on them.

2.The " Change" he is referring to is coins in your pocket , not money.

    3. Them 2.7 Million jobs by 2011. He will "change " his mind.. that will be the extra unemployed.

The "change" is from the Bush Administration back to the Clinton Administration.

The messiah is getting around to nominating Butch Reno for something, you just watch.

I wondered about that sign, too. Rather than hide until Jan, Obama is making these appearances trying to instill some confidence in the govt's ability to cope with the economic woes that his administration is going to have to tackle. What's wrong with that, especially when Bush seems to be on board. A lot of bad stuff can happen between now and Jan 20. We're in a crisis, folks. Bush is the lamest of ducks and, the fact that Obama is already working should inspire confidence. Those who preach doom and gloom may want to ask themselves if they want the man and his administration to fail for their own ideological reasons.

I doubt that Reno could hold still long enough to take the oath, much less sign any papers.

Don't be so quick to defend him. Half the people he is dragging to Washington are CFR members. He'll just be taking over where Bush left off in the destruction of this Republic for the NWO.

Number (3) is wrong, he will create the 2.7 million jobs as promised, and more... By changing "welfare's" name to "the permanently non-productive workforce government agency" (now employing 10.8 million employees)

    On Yahoo news
Obama using bully pulpit to tackle economy

CHICAGO - Pushing the calendar, and maybe his luck, President-elect Barack Obama is urging rapid approval of a massive economic stimulus package meant to calm turbulent financial markets.

He will not be president for another eight weeks, and the politically safer route might be to lie low as President George W. Bush finishes his rocky term. But in announcing his economic team Monday at a White House-style news conference, Obama has chosen to use the bully pulpit even before he assumes the office, gambling that he can soften the economy's fall while he continues to fill out the rest of his cabinet.

"The truth is, we do not have a minute to waste. These extraordinary stresses on our financial system require extraordinary policy responses," Obama said, introducing New York Federal Reserve Bank president Timothy Geithner as his treasury secretary and Lawrence Summers, a former treasury secretary under President Bill Clinton, to lead the National Economic Council.

Obama has said repeatedly there can be only one president at a time, and has kept a relatively low public profile as Bush and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson have tried to address the mortgage and credit crisis that threaten a deep global recession. That changed at his news conference Monday, when the president-elect pressed for passage of a multibillion-dollar stimulus plan aimed at creating jobs, easing the home foreclosure crisis

If he is not president for 8 more weeks, why does he even have a voice right now, and why are people listening.

All of these dire predictions are worth nothing. I will wait until he goes to work and judge him on what he does.[:X]
