Gov Davis for Pres 2004

Anybody else out there worry about Davis running for pres in 2004? After spending time on this board the last thing I want is Kalifornia's laws heading east to the capital! I thought with that energy fiasco it'd be the end of him but it seems like he came out smelling like a rose. Kind of like Ol' Slick Willy, only 50 pounds lighter. If he ran do you think he'd keep the gun stuff mum like Gore did or would his ego get the best of him. What's everyone else think about him? Specially some of you guys from RPK? Would like to hear your opinions.

He'd get about as far as he did last time. He's his own worst enemy. The rest of the country can see right through that crap he feeds to the "left" coast liberals.Mudge

He won the Democratic primary because he was the lesser of three evils. Compared to mostDemocrats in this state he is considered to be very moderate. He is not a friend of oursbut he is not a rageing enemy either.
