First date

I havent dated in a while. There have been women, but they were only one night stands. Ive been talking to this girl for a little while now, and shes pretty bad *, shes joining the army next year, quick witted, gorgeous and intelligent. The whole package. She told me shes never been shooting, so im going to use that to ask her out. Guns save the day once again! [:)]

Of course, I havent been shooting in a while, so now I have to run to the range and hone my skills a little bit and make sure I've still got it.

The boobies post got me thinking about my first date with Donna. I came to pick her up, all dressed in a suit and tie, to take her to dinner. She opened the door and just laughed. She said, come in and sit down and relax, I'am cooking you dinner.[:X][:0] She made me beef stoganoff, which I had never had before. It was out of this world.[:p][:p][:p] She told me she didn't want a man to waste his money on something foolish like an expensive dinner. I had never really dated a woman that was this mature and nice. I was previously married, but to someone that was just eye candy and nothing between the ears. Donna was mature at an early age because her mother died when she was just nine. 32 years later, It has been really great. Still a very spending conscience person and a great cook. She is cooking dinner for my whole family tonight. Apps are, stuffed mushrooms with crab meat, scallops with bacon, long hot peppers with anchovies and onions and french bread. Dinner is a baked chicken with stuffing and all the trimmings. Dessert is home made apple pie and carrot cake. Yeah, this is part of the reason I am fat and loving it[:D] Our daily dinners are like this most nights and she cleans teeth as a dental hygienist too boot. I found a keeper. I just don't know why she is with me[B)] Oakie

You are a lucky guy, it's not easy finding a keeper. And that goes for them finding a good guy too.

She sounds much like my bride.

Now I know why you can't seem to get below 190 pounds!

We are certainly blessed way beyond what we deserve!

That makes at least two of us. Sounds like Donna is a lot like my wife of 30+ years. Keep her happy Oakie. [;)]

Yes, Beth, but sadly she is married to a great guy. My favorite brother in law. Nicest guy I ever met.

My sweet wife made Beef StrokingHof last night. And a forgotten broccoli salad with white raisins and grapes.

thinking back those 20 years, it was about the time Windows 95 came out, and Microsoft wanted to show us you could see video on your computer. So every 95 install CD came with this video:

    Edie Brickell: "Good Times"

( you could copy the video off the CD to your 500 meg hard drive....took up 20% of the free space. )

    Today Mrs. Paul Simon

But actually she is a spittin image of my wife. I was quite surprised to see this video.
