Flew a very nice LS aircraft today

An Allegro LS. It has a Rotax 4 cycle 80 hp motor and performs quite well. The plane is sensitive to input and easy to fly. A few more hours and I will be soloing in it. Then if the rain EVER stops I can go fly my plane with a bit more confidence.

Today was a 10 knot cross wind landing. We crabbed so far to the right during final approach the wind was hitting me sideways through the door opening [:0]. We flew it with no doors to give us more shoulder room.

Now to figure out gun mounts for quad 10-22's on my plane with 100 round drum mags each.........

Cheap flying for sure. The aircraft takes off easy is stable and easy to control. The only "issue" I had was getting my right foot off the transfer bar to fully move the rudder. For the life of me I could not figure out why it would not respond to heavy right rudder until after I landed. I got a new pair of shoes for flying having size 13 waffle stompers is a tight fit in some planes. The new sissy shoes should help a lot.

I have a reoccurring dream I'm piloting a plane, but the landings are always shaky.
In real life, I leave it all to the pilot of my personal King Air 350.

Bruce, Can you post anther picture of you plane when you go up in it for me??? I want to show my brother in law Todd. He was the one that crashed his ultra light.[:o)] I also was wondering, how much do they cost on average, not what you paid, as that is none of our business. I was just curious as to the cost of buying one was and the maintenance. Also, how hard are they to learn to fly?? Oak
