Listening To Music

Listening to music reminds me of my Dad. I miss him so much. He loved music. I wish he could have taught me how to play a guitar but i have no skill or ear for music.

Sports i was good at. Music is a foreign language. He was right handed and i was left handed. He could not stand to see me hold the guitar wrong.

I can not remember but i think i held it upside down.

I wish i had tried harder.[:(]

I know two left handed guitar players that play right handed guitars. They both play with the stings upside down. They even played in the same band for many years..

We just lost one of them......RIP, Tim.

I love my music and cannot play a lick. I tried, but i sucked at the guitar. I can play the drums a little. I am just as happy to sit back and enjoy others talents. Music gets right into your soul. I love big band, Mills Brothers, to classic Rock, but mostly country. Nothing is better then Big band, Jazz and the blues. That is where all our music originated from. Oakie
