I wrote them saying I would no longer eat there as they support the illegals. here is their reply:

Thank you for writing us, and we appreciate your point of view, and whatever you choose to do is your right of course. However, our restaurants in a few areas were not closed because we support illegal immigration. All of our employees are legally authorized to work. Normally, we would want to be open for business under any circumstances. Nevertheless, we do support our folks' right to protest and engage with a cause they support. I hope this distinction makes sense to you, and we thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,

Joe Stupp

What do you want? They are a McDonalds Corperation.
I used to drive truck for Martin Brower in California. Our primary deliveries where McDonalds. And Chipolte was part of it.

It's still one rung up from Assistant Manager of duct tape and plungers. At last a figure of authority speaks.

Oh for gods sake, find something else to get worked up about.

Fact of life: Chipotle is always going to have mexicans on their staff, and if those mexicans want to protest, they will. The company probably doesn't like the protests any more than you or I. But they cant just fire their entire workforce overnight, now can they?

Meanwhile, I will continue to buy their food - Chipotle is great college student food. Cheap, lots of it, and very convenient.
