What's missing from your collection ?

Aaarrrg. Wouldn't ya know it. There's been a hole in my collection for quite some time and there is currently a gun listed here at GB that would fill that that hole. Naturally I don't have the funds to purchase it. Of course, even if I had funds available, the price will probably go through the roof before the auction is over.

What's missing from your collection?

I've got a few gaps, but their not anything I'm desprate for or actually think I'd shoot much ... and most of them I've had and sold or traded for something cause I wan't that impressed with them in the first place ... like the HK 93, HK MK23 Socom, HK VP70Z to name a few.

AK Pistol would be cool ... never had one of them ...

I wouldn't mind getting another UZI carbine and a micro to go with it. [:p]

What I'd really like is to SBR a couple of my HK type rifles, but its a no-no in Kansas ... not that there is a law aginst SBR's, (there is a law on the books prohibiting supperssors, automatic weapons, short-barreled shotguns - but not short-barreled rifles), still, I've yet to find a LEO that will sign off for them.

What's missing? All kinds of stuff! Most of the Colt combustibles, most of the FA rimfire experimentals, a mule ear Sharps, .69 C&T rimfire, original Crispins, tear gas rounds in .30-06 / .50 BMG, the aluminum bullet Daytona Beach .30-06 experimentals, some of the Bang experimentals, most Gerlich types and more prototypes or prototype loadings (AP / tracer / etc.) from 1910-45 than even I can imagine. At least 1000 rounds all told.

I still have this crazy voice whispering to me that I really do need a Barrett. I've been able to resist so far but don't know how much longer I will be able to resist. My wonderful wife said "If you really want it, get it.". What to do?

I want to have a Colt .45LC or .44-40 first Generation even if it's in the crappiest conditions. I have always wanted one and the first time I shot my 1877 Thunderer (made in 1901) I knew I had to have one of the first big guns.

An original "Gas Trap" M1 Garand and an EDM "Windrunner" rifle. Actually I never know what firearms are missing from my collection until I see something new that I like and then have to bring it home!

I need a good Colt 1911 .45 ACP. As usual, the prices are outrageous, but I'll find one.

This one's a beauty, but apparently way over priced (sob):

A Rger Red Label 28ga, anniversary model. I should have never gotten the first one but now that I have the 12 and 20 I want the 28. Soon, just don't want to buy it new.

The members on this board, also have me looking for a 25/06. Their constant praise of this caliber has given me an itch. I don't use most of my acuasitions though,so I will search for the bargain. The last time this happened, I got an urge for a caliber, I bought a 270 sako.

What's missing from my safe??? - THE KEYS !!??!!
    Nah, phew.. found them.

The next serious buy for the safe, would be something I can use to hunt deer and that is precise enough to do some targetting at longer ranges than just 2-300 yards.
Might be Steyr Scout Tactical Elite .308 - definately something light, preferably short - might even be a custom Armalon PR rifle like I used to have.
