Now, what spaniels said![}:)]
When this forum ceases to be fun; folks leave. Some leave quietly, others burn the bridge. Sad, but, true.
Stand tall boy, the fast ones are going over your head.
Plink are you dumb?[:p] Why do you think he wants that hug anyway?[:0]

I don't see <censored> in the group hug, so I bet Plink figured it was okay.
Y'know. Throw in a Taco Bell combo meal or something.
That is the very definition of cheap![:0]
And awful, you better come on south and let us get you some good Mexican food Col.![^]
I think "The Law" would enjoy that too much. Say, there isn't something you want to tell us is there?

Guilty . . . to paraphrase the lying scumbag in the Oval Office 1992-2000, it depends on your definition of enemy. Me, I see today's left as just as much my enemy as the sheetheads.

With the exception of the terms "blindingly" & "shallow," guilty again. Intolerant? Absolutely!! Tolerating the leftish horse dung is what put us so far behind the 8 ball with the illegals, the sheetheads, the disaster which is public "education," the vast sums squandered on welfare, etc. Allowing the leftist propaganda to pass unchallenged is to guarantee the destruction of this country.

I would rather hug a rabid skunk in heat.
Makes sense - the left embraces hillaryous, babs boxhead, diane frankenstein, cindy sheehan, etc. - a rabid skunk would be several steps up.

Yep. Remember to thank mikey moore, the NY Slimes and their fellow travelers for making it clear this nation faces domestic enemies as virulent and anti-American as those abroad . . . enemies with whom there can be no compromise.
E.J. Dionne (Washington post columnist) did a segment on NH public radio this week - relatively objective considering the source and discounting the slanted terminology - in which he discussed his study of the "culture war." He stated his belief based on that research, the nation is more divided today than it was at any time except the Civil War era, although it remains short of that degree of hostility. I would submit that this is because, for the past 40 or so years, the far left has been pushing its agenda with increasing zeal and consequently increasingly infuriating / alienating those who do not share their views. At least, I find that to be my situation. Over that period (roughly) I've gone from listening closely in the (mistaken youthful idealistic) hope I'd gain some insight to the realization the leftist agenda is legally pornographic (absolutely devoid of redeeming social value). I agree with the liberals on some substantive issues, but the unending pile of dog dung which is the bulk of the package reduces those elements of agreement to nothing.
Hate the left? Yep. Deeply, intensely, almost without exception. Not proud of it, but certainly not ashamed. By my lights, they've earned it. I could count the number of liberals I respect (and two of them are here) on the fingers of one hand and still have a digit (guess which one) left over for the rest.
Now, if the politics are not included, then the "civil" discourse is entirely possible. But one party in particular seems to find the Politics board too small a venue to peddle his crocks.
Not in this lifetime.

YOU THE MAN ICONoclast!!!! [:D][:0][:D][:0][:D][:0][:D][:0][:D][:0][:D][:0]
I can identify with this...I am attacked and insulted quite often for supporting the Second Amendment.
However, I believe that that finger is pointed squarely at ME...because either you believe in gun control...or you don't. There is no such thing as 'a little gun control'..or a 'little pregnant'...either you support the Second or you don't.
Merely owning a firearm does NOT make you a supporter of tthe Second..and there are many right on this forum that do not do so.They have been stroked into numbness by such as NRA..convinced that compromise is a good thing. Tell that to the Founders, please. You would have gotten a fist-full of knuckles, back in that day.
If you do not support the Constitution...you DESERVE to be insulted..villified..and your error pointed out for all the world to see and despise.

You ain't kiddin'. I haven't been south of the Colorado border in five years. It's time I get back to Texas for a visit. Or at least new Mexico. Love that Tularosa Basin.
... I see little or no disparities here. I'd comply if I were allowed to remove all my valuables first.[:D]

I've noted that it is most often that 'group hugs' are mainly instigated by pickpockets and common criminals.
