    True to form!!! a law that will prevent "law abiding folk" from having a means of defense against the "criminal element" that by definition won't be paying any attention to this or any other law that gets in their way. Another "gun-free" zone. Such a novel idea[:o)][:o)]

    One can only hope that someone/some group keeps the actions of the Governor and other spineless elected politicians actions in the forefront of the citizens minds till election time and the people vote to kick their PC * out of office and elect true Americans with some backbone.

    Sadly, politicians with a backbone is an oxymoron I'm afraid.[V]

    SC has a State Preemption law. So this city ordinance strikes me as illegal on that point alone.

    State law is Shale Issue on permits but Open Carry is listed as not permitted.

    Hopefully counter-lawsuits will follow quickly.
