GOP Presidential hopefuls and the Confederate Flag

The candidates that call the Confederate flag a racist symbol, a symbol of terrorism, and the men that fought for the Confederacy as terrorists, and the descendants as sons and daughters of terrorists, probably will not win against the democratic candidate. And, if anyone of them waffles over the subject by passing the issue off as solely a state issue, they will most likely lose as well. The only way the GOP can, as I see it, put in a candidate that will win the presidential election is to speak up in the name of common sense and tell the progressives that the Confederate flag is a symbol of heritage and not hate. And, unless they do something like that, they are probably in the race for all the wrong reasons.

I agree but there so worried about the minority vote and public opinion they will say or do what ever there advisers tell them , too stay in the "popular trend group "

The "Donald " stepped on his ball park frank when he made the speech about vets . I think he could have called out McCain as being a bad politician and got there due to his war record . which I do respect him for what he went thru but do not think he should be elected over it .
Up to then he was gaining the Joe average support and forcing the other's to face the facts

After looking around the nation, I am really surprised at how many "Northern" folks are appalled about how the "Flag" has been treated!Action creates re action...and I belive that any candidate that thinks being PC will get them elected, should look at how well Trump is doing.I think the Great Experiment is over...folks are now seeing how bad this national PC stuff is bringing down our country...The reason we lost the last time,is because no one was bold enough to go after that #$%$#@&^%^...POTUS....

As the old saying goes they are not worth the powder to blow them away.
