Before I started school I wanted to go to school. Once I started school I longed to graduate. Once I graduated I prayed to go back...

Yep, I'm the type that's never happy with his present situation[:D]

I spent my entire youth wanting to be a grown up. Have spent a lot of my adult years wishing I could go back to my youth![:0]

I did great in school. Graduated a year early, so my friends in school kind of changed. I was scheduled graduate with the class of 82, but ended up graduating with the class of 81, with my sister.
Most of my friends are older. I have never went to a class reunion, as I have no desire too. I could care less as to what car they drive, how many kids they have or what brand cigar they smoke. Most of the kids I went to school with, were from rich families. I was from the other side of the tracks, so to say, and had to earn everything I have. Class reunion, uh, no thanks.[;)]

Once I graduated, I never looked back. Anything I've got in the mail about class reunions has been returned to sender. Seems to me that by now, they would come to the conclusion that if I haven't contacted the vast majority of them for any reason, there's probably a reason.[}:)]

    I never liked school.
I grew up in a great little town and most everyone got along great.
I've gone to all but one reunion(because we were trveling). My wife even enjoyed my reunions and we both went to only one of hers. The difference was night and day, only 30 miles apart.

I went to the 10th, and enjoyed seeing a few folks that I had lost contact with.

Will probably go to the 50th if I make it that long.

Enjoyed school. Have no regrets, but life goes on. I live the philosophy that every year will be better than the last, and as such rarely look back.

There is no emotional attachment to any phase of my earlier life. All of it brought me to the wonderful place I occupy today, and all is important, but life is now and life is the future.

This year was my 50th. I didn't go to this one just like the previous 49. I never cared for high school but still have a handful of friends from back then. I couldn't wait to get out of Peoria and moved to Madison, WI for school. I never went back except to visit the folks. I've been in the Indy area since 1962.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

From looking at some of my class on Facebook they sure look like they have not aged very well.

I still run with friends from as far back as Kindergarten/grammar school. Yeah the crowd voted most likely to do time [:D]
Went to one reunion, 1/2 the ladies were looking for sucker #2 or #3.

Kinda like my Shop Rite on Thursday.

My class of '62 will be having their 56th come late October. Never made one, but it would be great to see the old gang.
    What's next?
