would you rather it been a 4-5 vote the other direction?
Democracy will never be in full agreement but I am glad that the majority still has sense.
I don't care for the justices who voted wrong on this case any more than you but I am glad that there were a majority that voted right.

If you are saying that is where the shipping information is given and payment method. It does not have a fixed amount in the auction for shipping. It does not say if the ffl can be faxed, emailed, carried there on a camel or taken via canoe up the river. Payment could be in us quarters , postal money order, gold, pesos , i do not know. I just try to verify payment/ffl with every seller. I can assure you i am not hard to deal with. You can ask shootuadeal and others i have bought from. I pay fast and get my ffl there fast.
It's always a proud day in a guy's life, when he buys a new truck.
Congrats and enjoy! [:)]
Although I'm sure you put a great deal of thought into your rhetorical one sentence question directed at me, I think you know the answer to it.
Of course I am relieved that gun rights will be restored to some, and preserved for many for some time. I am however saddened by the absolute realization that our second amendment RIGHT is not impermeable, infallible, and as with many things, including life, one day the second amendment will succumb to time.
I cannot, and will not, refer to this ruling as a win.
The truth is, this ruling should have never been necessary, and I fear that it will ultimately last, just long enough to infest gun owners with complacency, and liberal lawyers the time to compile organized, unconstitutional, and irrational arguments that will ultimately erode freedom so slowly that nobody will actually notice.
Just a question as I honestly don't know---WHY did the founders make the SC Justices appointed for life while people in other branches of the gov't have at the least a term and then election. To me these Justices sit on the bench entirely too long. I would think a maximum time would be 10 years and then out. I belive they become corrupted over time and rule with their feelings instead of the law.
Because they didn't want their positions to be "political". Also not wanting the SC Justices to be subject to "mob rule".
As we can see now, this isn't allways the case, moreso, exactly the opposite of the intent.
I can take no pleasure or pride in the fact that four of the most powerful and influential people in the country, who are unarguably at the peak of their profession, and are tasked with a responsibility so massive, that many Americans could probably not fully comprehend it in its most true state, can reach a conclusion that favors tyranny over liberty.
Almost half WANT tyranny.
Truly sad that our country has fallen this far.

There will be a few that notice.....enough to effect change.......NO. [V]
Any thoughts MVP?
I agree with you that there is no pleasure or pride in the fact that four of the most powerful and influential people in the country can vote in a way that is opposite of the principals put to paper that our Nation was based on.
But I cn take pride in the 5 that voted that the 2nd garantees the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
I originally started this thread as a question to you because you roller answered atleast five other threads with the exact same statement with
quote:This is not a victory.
This is a temporary pass.
4 MEMBERS OF THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT, who are sworn to uphold and protect the constitution voted in favor of government managed tyranny.
Amazing, this is being called a WIN. 4 people who should care about nothing except the sanctity of the country voted to sell you down the river, and now, here we are, Joe American gun owner who is happier than a pig in s-h-*-t because of it.
That is why I asked if you would have prefered it to slide the other direction.
In my mind I can't understand people who want the USA to have a total dissregard to the Constitution and Bill of Rights so there can be another civil war.
There are several here on the forums that seem to have a desire for a total breakdown of law and order so the shooting can begin.
I say whatever but I will also say that when the supreme court makes its first ruling in history on the second amendment as We the people have the RTKBA I will take that as a win as opposed to something like only a militia of the state has the right to keep and bear arms.
It IS on the waqy...or maybe we are in it.
