auction side question

Has there been some kind of update to the search function? When I look at an item and then return back to the search page it jumps back to the top of the search page instead of where I was on the search page. It's kind of annoying to have to scroll through everything multiple times.

Is there a way to stay logged in to the auction side even after you turn the computer off? Is it the new format or did I loose the only marble that I had? Seems to me that I always stayed logged in before no matter how many times I left?

On the 15 minute rule does that apply to all bids or only bids that exceed the current high bid? For example if I had the current high bid at $350 and my max bid was $500 and someone came in and bid $360 would that reset the clock or would it only reset once they exceeded my max bid?

Ok for a Dutch Auction how do you go about contacting the Seller.

With a normal auction after the Auction is complete Upper right will list Sellers name and address link. This is not available with Dutch Auction.

All you can do is use the "contact seller " link. that one works thru Gunbroker and does not work most ofthe time.

But in that other link you get their actual E-mail address so its easy getting thru.

Help no answer to my ask the seller a question several times.

I like to search within my home state so often use the Advanced Search option but every time I change the item I'm searching for I have to re-enter the state. Is there a way to lock in the state for multiple searches? I asked tech-support on the auction side but just got a generic non-answer answer. Thanks.

    Yes.
I know I'm treading on thin ice with this question.

But is there a way to go back a couple of months in the buy/sell history?

I'm looking for a seller from a couple of months ago. And can't find it in history.

Can the starting bid amount be raised after the auction is started if there are no bids yet?

Where is the tab or section to save a seller to your favorites? Didn't there used to be such place?

I have a buyer that wanted to save me so he wouldn't have to do a search for my auctions.

Why post an auction when the first words are

    Call for availability.

I am sure the owners of GB.com are very appreciative for the listing, but....why bother listing?\\

Made you look....every last one of you moderators.[:D]

What seller's auctions do you look at regularly just to see what they have?

I like to keep an eye on sellers with NO RESERVES and a variety.

There are a couple I like. Freddiebear is one of them.

WHo do you keep in your saved searches?

On the other side there are obviously alot of unrelated gun items for sale. For example is the item listed below. Do you think the sellers list the same item on many different sites at the same time or have multiples of the same thing? I would think it would be hard to list a single item on different sites due to multiple bids and selling it. But I also think that some things would be better off listed elsewhere to attract a more concentrated buyer. Thoughts?

I bought an item from the auction side, paid for it, it was shipped and I received it in good order however on my accounts page it is still listed as "Awaiting Payment".
How does this happen? Does the seller have to do something on his end to fix it or do I. I've never had this happen before.

Any bidding in the last 15 minutes will extend the auction.

I did read that but wanted to make sure that technically another bidder could make 20 bids 15 mins apart and really stretch it out.

I auctioned an old Mississippi rifle years ago here on GB and it got extended almost 2 hours past the original expiration date.

That sounds like it might have been for the rifle used by the CSA that was manufactured in Holly Springs, MS.
