How long you been married???

Donna and I are coming up on 25 years. The reason I ask is because it seems all my friends are getting divorced at around 15 to 20 years. Four of my friends ended their marriages this past year. I just dont get it. I will be married till I die. We are best friends and go everywhere together.Is it our generation??

In March, it will be 15 for us. Time flies.

I was 27 when we were married, she was 18. She is the only girl I ever kissed, the only girl I ever held hands with. We were virgins until our wedding night.

We've been through some rough patches. Infertility about robbed us of our marriage, and then she had severe depression. The depression lasted over 10 years, even though we were able to have one child in 2004.

In 2010, we adopted two foster children, who are now ages 5 and 4. So we have a 7, 5, and 4 year old.

Last year, with counseling, the depression lifted. Life is good! I'm ready for another 15, and another 15 after that!

My parents have been married 47 years. We don't believe in divorce. It's just not in our vocabulary.

I tell my wife all the time, "If you ever leave me, I'm going with you!"

my grandparents were married over 65 years. she was a county 'big wheel, he was half deaf and liked to hunt, fish and tend his garden. They died a week apart. If you're gonna do it, that's how it's done.

I've never been married, but had a couple of long termers. raised 2 sets of kids that weren't mine. but were raised like they were. might have to 'take that leap' with this one.... she taught me what 'normal' is like......

21 years as of December 2011. Married after knowing each other 4 months. She was 18 and I was 26. And her mother said it wouldn't last. Her 3 marriages don't add up to our one.
