I am at work, but not planning to do much. A little later this morning, Dawnie will bring to the station the food she has been preparing over the last two days, and we will eat. I sampled some of the turkey last night, and it was perfect. I hope the boys and girls appreciate all her hard work.

Very Happy Thanksgiving!

All of us living in this country have much to be thankful for today.
Thank you for all you do, may God bless you and you family.
I worked many a holiday as a nurse, and appreciate the thanks from
those who appreciate it. It's all in the line of duty, and
those who do it regularly don't really think about it. You
enjoy the day with those you serve. Giving is what you do. I
have been humbled more than once observing the quiet and heroic
struggles of many brave people. Drawing on a strength, I've
watched in true awe sometimes. Wouldn't trade those days I
missed with my family, I was the one who was blessed.
The officers I work with now are great people, who treat others
with respect and dignity. They have a hard job. I am glad to
have them watching over my community.
Happy thanksgiving sir.
all my love and prayers for you and Dawnie....

A Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I think I'll keep her.[:D]
I just had two big plates full of turkey, cornbread dressing, and giblet gravy, topped off with two slices of homemade cherry pie. (I know it's traditional, but I don't care much for pumpkin pie.) The other cops seemed to be pleased with Dawnie's efforts too. Some other people brought some other snack foods and desserts. We ate good.[:p]
I think I'll keep her.[:D]
If the cornbread dressing was good Texas stuff, ya ought to pay her! [:D]
