In 1975, I was 19. That Summer I was going into the Navy and Just was screwing off for a few months.
The KKK was holding a rally out in an empty field in West Mobile. Everyone was invited. By then, I had read Mandingo and the Klansman and seen newsreels of the Klan marching in D.C for Woodrow Wilson.
I had never been to a rally and you know me, having balls the size of basketballs, I thought "Why not"?
There were a few hundred people in the field, some dressed in full Klan regalia. No NAZI's or protestors at all. There were hot dogs and a lot of Bible reading. There were a few Birchers with "Get Out of the UN" handouts on a sawhorse and plywood table.
The Alabama Rescue group (Like the EMT's now) was selling raffle tickets for a restored 1951 Chevy two door coupe with a straight six motor. I bought a single one dollar chance.
There was really no hate preached, just that we had to be aware of Communist infiltration into every facet of our country and government. Democrats were still a force to be reckoned with in 1975 Alabama and we still had a number of "Yellow Dog" Democrats.
After all the speeches had been made, a twenty foot wooden cross was fired and everyone just milled about.
As the cross burned out, a prayer was said and folks started leaving. No violence, no fighting. It was interesting to see a chapter in Americana.
In July I went in the Navy and while I was in boot camp, I got a letter from Pop that I had won the '51 Chevy and he had taken custody of it for me. [:D]
After boot camp, I got orders to A school in Millington, TN. After leave, I drove it to Millington for a year.
There is no doubt in my mind that had the Pinkos not shown up, the rally in South Carolina would have been uneventful and very peaceful.
I'm putting this on the internet because it's the truth and you all know I don't give a damn what anyone thinks.[8D]

Times are changing and not for the better.
In today's mentalities of "gatherings" it's either you're with us or you're our enemy. Even if you're not with the KKK or BLM since you're not with us you are our enemy. Also you get no quarters maybe a sock full of.
I think the left wants a race war. That's their only way to hope for a win in 2020
I took lots of Math classes. I like the odds.
Oh my how dare you expect the left be called out for their perfectly correct violence!
Oh! Dear me! They are not supposed to talk back! Why, are we discussing Confederate this, and Confederate that, everyday now...24/7?! When can we talk about why Trump beat Hillary, instead. Oh! Dear me! Dear me! [:D]
