John Landon is 8 and jumped in the bed of his Dads truck and cut his fingers on a piece of the railing that was on the truck.
John Landon cut 1 finger to the bone and the er doctor had enough sense to stop the bleeding and send him to a pediatric hand surgeon.
They reatached the nerve and ligaments. Now they are waiting for feeling to come back in his finger.
This is the smartest kid i have ever been around. He skipped Kindergarden and first grade. The school will move him up some more grades but his parents do not want him to go so far where he will be the smallest in the class.
Which kind of makes since.
Prayers his hand is fixed. All i know how to do is work on things i can not imagine not having a hand that works right.[:(]

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
It sounds like everybody did the right things and the boy has an excellent chance for 100% recovery. Kids are amazing getting past problems.

Not only that, but Medical technology is improving by leaps and bounds.
Hope the little guy comes through with flying colors. Best wishes, and Prayers.
Hand surgeon did wonders with what was left of my right
hand and as said, they're getting better at it all the time.
All our best to him.

I met a kid back in the 1970s that had his right thumb bitten off by a pony. The surgeon removed his trigger finger and moved it to the thumb position. In today?s world of modern technology that is impressive. For the time (1970s) I was flabbergasted.
