Great movie! Always thought they left the ending open for a sequel?
I would agree. The ending sucked, compared to the movie.
I hate when that happens.
Possible??
What say you??
So this guy wanders around the countryside, dragging this preposterous contraption with him, using it to kill everyone he meets, and he attracts no attention to himself. Oh yeah, and the people he kills just stand there and let him.
The guy also has a very unlikely suppressed shotgun, and carries it about attracting no attention. It's a Remington 11-87, which hadn't been invented yet.
The HK SP89 also hadn't been invented yet.
There is no "Plano Sheriff." Plano is mostly in Collin County, partly in Denton County.
Sheriff draws a 1911 pistol and thumb cocks the hammer. No one with a brain carries a 1911 in Condition Two.
Very surreal, but not in a fun way, such as "O Brother Where Art Thou?"

When you figure the ending out you'll understand why it is so incredibly awesome!
Saw it twice still don't know who got
the dang money.
That Sugar S.O.B. had no dern need to kill
Carla Jean.
Josh Bolin is one of my favorite actors
Agreed, but there are a lot of good actors, in that movie.

I do like "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada"
once was enough for me, too dark for my liking.

You are the 1st person I have talked to, besides myself, that liked that movie. Most people find it too slow.

I never could stand that guy and I just can't put my finger on why!
Here's a pretty in depth discussion about the meanings involved in various parts of this movie. They are the opinion of the author of course.

Here's one more to the point as I had it figured, Mark, which is somewhat mystical in that it deals with his father leading the way and waiting to meet up with him once again in the hereafter:
