How is everyone doing on the resolutions?

Since last Wednesday, I'm down to 234 from 237.Started doing simple exercises that require little or no equipment:Pushups, crunches, jumping jacks, distance runs with some sprints mixed in, stair runs, step ups, squats, calf raises, leg throws (requires partner), I use dumbells (no reference to me) and a jump rope. This is the only equipment I've bought. Cheap.

I didn't bother making any resolutions since I never seem to keep them anyways!

Down from a blubbery and bloated 275 to a lean, hard 273. Thank God that ordeal's over. Now I just have to keep it off.

I've been walking and/or riding my bicycle every day since Jan. 1st. Also got the ol' lady to quit fixing so much food for supper. Hey, if it's there - I'll eat it. My weight yo-yo's up and down several pounds from day to day, but near as I can figure I've lost 6 or 7 pounds. Still shooting for 210 (down from 250) by June 21st. I just hope once I'm a skin-and-bones 210 lbs. that the big mean guys don't pick on me.

Decided to not let little things bother me. The next time my kids break something-I will remember- it's only a material thing and that they are #1 in my life. We are here but a short time and I want to make it good for those I love. I NEVER make a promise I don't keep! And these things I have promised. A great year to us all!

thebutcher - Used to smoke Marlboro Reds and dip Copenhagen. Quit Cope in July of '87 (still smoked for three more years)and it was the single, toughest monkey I ever wrestled with. Quit ciggies three years later and it was a breeze by comparison. Nothing like mainlining the old nicotine to really get hooked. HOWEVER, if a weak-willed pleasure seeker such as moi can kick it, it can be done. Hang in there. The physical craving will go away in a couple of weeks. Then you just have to watch that you don't let your mind trick you into thinking you can handle "a little" snuff. Good luck.
