Trap guns

In the past I have owned many trap guns. By trap guns I mean dedicated trap guns, not field guns used to shoot trap with. By the best of my memory all of them have had only a 2 3/4" chamber no matter who manufactured them. I currently have a gun in mind that says that it is a dedicated trap gun but it says that it has a 3" chamber. All of the rest of the gun adds up, correct LOP, drop at comb/heel, bbl length and chokes along with the fore end (no box though). I plan to give the factory a call after the holiday to verify though. Any one ever had a dedicated trap gun with a 3" chamber?? Thanks.

I have a remington 1100 Trap T with 30 inch ful choke with 3 inch chamber..Never use anything but 2 3/4 though..All the rest of my trap and skeet guns take 2 3/4 inch except for my sporting 410 which takes the 3 inch also..
