    I started the Tread and is ok he closed it..the sample is the reaction you just see...Nunn has the absolute right to express his disgust... but that does not make him a gay Torquemada style inquisitor ,in that strides the need of evolution and maturity..we just explode and react to what we don't like like the reaction to Nunn comments right now...maybe we need a tread on how to be less "reactive" to written words.

    OK, I don't know what the hell you just said there, Dread...I was sticking up for you, you stinkin illiterate!Nunn threw out his personal attack on gays and then closed the thread before anybody had the opportunity to oppose his thoughts. On one hand he said that he has become "more tolerant", but will not allow a discussion of the same.

    I don't know guys, To me Dread has a vast vocabulary and unique ways of using it. Like reading a book by James Fenimore Copper or any other old time author the wrods make sense you just have to study them.

Are we sinking to the level of the libs who feel that free speech is okay so long as it is liberal and seeeeeeeensitive and open-miiiiiiiinded?Let's look at the word "tolerant" for a moment so long as we are talking about homosexuality. The word "tolerate" implies that you are "putting up" with something. It actually attaches a stigma to that which is being tolerated. Okay, I'm "tolerant". I'm not afraid to say it. I "tolerate" moraly repugnant activity based on the concept that this is supposed to be a free nation. However, it still makes me sick.I just love using the liberals' lingo against them.P.S. I do, however, disagree with his use of his powers as "moderator"2) You posted a comment/question and you are entitled to your fair responses. The topic of this discussion board is "General" and your question is not as far off topic as some others I have seen.3) What drugs are you on? Peyote? Meth? When you respond, please try to be coherent. If you want a coherent response, you must first pose a coherent idea.4) "Every action has an opposite and equal reaction." You cannot pose a potentially inflamatory question and then not expect a potentially inflammatory response. I have no desire to become sensitive to their "plight".I do, however, have a serious problem with a person who professes toleration on one hand, and refuses toleration with the other. Dread posted a question that was not outside the confines of conduct on this board, therefore, he is entitled to responses.Nunn offered a personal attack, right before he closed the conversation. I would not be the least suprised if he closed this thread now as I am personally challenging his judgment as moderator. It is within his power to do so, but that would just prove my point further.

    Redleg...lighten up a little on nunn. He uses his best judgement on certain items to ensure that the forum stays within certain boundaries. Now as far as I'm concerned anybody who uses the body's sewer pipe for their playground should remain quiet about their deviate proclivities. Many of them, however, would choose to regale us with stories of their use of their *. I think many of us on this forum would enjoy writing of our displeasure with that lifestyle. Nunn, I believe, chose to cut off discussion simply to preclude a lot of the righteous homosexual bashing that would follow. You are relatively new to the forum and might be predisposed to badmouth nunn because of his ability to poof a thread. I believe he uses pretty good judgement on thread closures. So go with the flow and cut him some slack. I know a while back we had a thread on the role of moderator and not too many people were willing to step to the plate and take over his job. Beach

    At one time in my life I was an actor type person. During that period I met MANY gays.(The theater is wall to wall with them.) Most of the "Flaming Faggot" "Sissy Boy" types were pretty disgusting. They thought they had to wear thier perversion like a badge. Most of the guys who weren't so "out" were OK to work with. We all knew who was and who wasn't gay and let it alone. Some of us would even "hack" on each other (in fun) about being gay or straight. It was understood that they (gays) wouldn't hit on us and we (straights) certainly weren't gonna' hit on them.That experience, I think, taught me tolerance. Don't get me wrong. The lifestyle disgusts me but, as long as they don't get in my face, I couldn't care less what they do to each other. As a closing thought. I can't imagine how a guy can look down at some other guys hairy butt and tell him he loves him.Just a thought for Dread.     I really dislike the term "gay" and I try not to use it. It was coined by the homosexuals as a way of glossing over the details their lifestyle.There's nothing "gay" about doing the horizontal rhumba with someone of the same sex.

I have visited with gays that are downright nice people to know. For all I know, I work with a few. I say, "for all I know," because that is not something that a person of discretion takes to work with him, and it is not my business to ask.The poster on this board who was so vilified for disclosing his lifestyle is one such person.
