Does anyone know where one can order or purchase Buffalo Meat in the Northwest Iowa/Northeast Nebraska/South East South Dakota region?

    Anyone eat Buffalo?
I have a friend who raises buffalo and had one butchered 2 days ago. I will be going over there today to pick up my 25lb "sample pack" and wondered if any of you eat the stuff and had any tips. This is my first try with this meat.

When midwesterners start enisting in droves then I'll stop working Monday through Saturday every week. I had to practically PLEAD to get one Saturday off during deer season this year. Heh heh heh.Ms. Creant--Thank you for the info. I'll have to make a call in the next week. It's been so long since I've had buffalo. Recruiting responsibilities for SD schools were transferred from me to a new guy in the office. I used to get up to Jefferson, SD regularly. I'll have to make an excuse to go back soon.[This message has been edited by idsman75 (edited 01-07-2002).]
