The PX here is getting rid of all guns and related inventory. A Ruger Balckhawk (new model) will cost me $284.96 out the door. Is this a good price? The 44 Magnum is around $350, but I don't much care for that caliber.

    Will,Don't know if the price is right, But the Black Hawk is. Have killed several deer with mine(One thing thats not big in Texas is the deer). More hogs and javellina than I can count.

    After trying many loads. You will not beleve what was the best by far.CCI Blazer hollow points from Wall Mart.

    Is the BH a .45LC or a .357 mag? What barrel length? I prefer the 5.5" because it is more packable for back country protection. Barrel length depends on your intended use. Longer barrel on hunting BH are typicaly preferred. Shorter barrels can and are in cowboy competition. The .44 is a SBH. Both prices are good.

    if you like it get it !!! thats about 100.00 less than what i can get them for. i would buy a 357 with 5.5 barrel for that price. whats wrong with the 44 mag? i like it as well as both my 41mag or 45 lc. and i like both of them very much. CARL

    Looks like the 357 is gonna be mine. Sweet talked the girl into hiding it for me until payday. My wife hates when I do that!

    I miss the Rod and Gun club at Fort Lewis, WA. You could get EXCELLENT deals right there on post and not have to pay a dime of tax. I sure wish I started buying guns before I left that place.
