I went to the shop on my lunch break to get a Smith 457 and some ammo.I went to look in the case and didnt even notice the Smith because of what was sitting beside it,it got my attention and wouldnt let go.So I ask to look at it and its $600.00 so I tell him I dont think I could spend that much since it was almost double the price of the Smith. So we talked for about 10 minutes about it and how much I liked it and he said I bring so much business to him he would throw in some extras. He says it will definately be worth my while,so I thinking maybe a clip and a box of ammo or along those lines. So I say sure what the hell and I pay for it and I go back to work wait on the police to call back on me and stop back in to pick it up after work.He has everything in a box for me when I get there.I open it up and my little extra's are a FEG -PA63,1 box of ammo for that and a box for the SIG P239 I just bought in .357SIG.DAMN.I was thankin and ginnin the whole way out the store and all the way home.My wife jumped all over me when i got home thinking I bought both of them.I coudnt beleive he did that. Not that its bad or Im complaining it just threw me for a loop so to speak. But Im now the proud owner of a SIG P239 and a free Makarov!!

AN ARMED SOCIETY IS A POLITE SOCIETY
Why did the police have to call back on you?
By the way, congrats on the ccw and purchases.

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.
Those Pa63's are great little weapons they just need a little polishing.
While the Pa63 is very reliable, accurate and concealable, it has three main problems,
A) Ammunition availability. 9mm Makarov isn't your standard Walmart ammo.
Recoil. You'll know what I mean as soon as you pop off three or four 100 grain+ rounds.
C) Trigger pull. It's like trying to pull a cat through a creek.
These can all be fixed rather cheaply
If you're not too impressed with the Makarov round, you can buy a stainless 380 barrel for 65$. This will also take care of the recoil problem. If you decide you want to keep shooting 9mm Makarov, you can purchase a heavier recoil spring, which will lessen the recoil considerably. The recoil spring, and an improved main spring can be had for 9$. You can find the barrel and the spring kit here:

To improve the trigger pull I took my trusty Dremmal tool and ground down any rough edges on the trigger bar, sear, hammer and frame. I also installed a 19# main spring. I first installed a 16# spring but the double action trigger impact was so light, it wouldn't fire the first round. If you don't want to buy the spring you can grind a few loops of the end of the spring. The only problem with this is if you take off too much, the double action impact may hit too light. In fact I just remembered I have a main spring I lightened that I don't plan on using. Send me an email with your address and it's yours. Just a side note, don't sell that Pa63! I found out from my FFL the supplies are drying up.
Munkey, Seth. whatever
