Ok I am looking for a scope as you might see from previous posts. I am considering a PSO-1 for my SAR-1, but I need some help. What exactly is a chevron reticle, i am VERY confused with that. Also, will the scope give sufficient eye relief? I heard that it sits kind of awkwardly on some guns. is the scope hard to work for a person used to a standard american style scope? is the adjustments when sighting in the scope the same as an american scope? do I have to buy a special mount for my gun or does it come with? Is this scope hard to understand and operate since the controls are in Russian or do they clarify it well. Thank you very much for your help, I just want to make sure I understand what Im looking at before I decide to buy it.

A chevron reticle is a reticle in the shape of a chevron I belive. An accurate description might be "an upside-down V-shape". I belive you might get an accurate idea if you watch "Enemy at the Gates". The Russian sniper has a scope with a chevron reticle.
