Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-AP -- A Saudi court has sentenced a man to six years in prison and four-thousand-750 lashes for having sex with his wife's sister.Lashes are often handed out by Saudi courts, although rarely in such large numbers. Having a relationship with one's in-law is considered a serious offense under the strict Islamic law that Saudi Arabia follows.A Saudi newspaper (Al-Eqtisadiah) reports the woman in the case was sentenced to six months in jail and 65 lashes, although the court found she had not consented to the relationship. She had also reported the affair to the police.

SaxonPig--Of course they punish the victim. Wouldn't it be interesting to use the liberal point-of-view that promotes the "understanding" and virtual indoctrination of the Muslim religion with which we have been bombarded since 9/11? It seems that they elevate any non-Christian religion to the point of glorification. You can't wear a cross in a public school but you sure as hell can carry the Koran or wear a pagan pentacle. This glorification of "alternative" religions makes for an interesting turn-around. The same liberals like to turn our criminals into "victims" of society. We should point out that even the victims get punished in the countries from which these glorified religions are spawned.
