Gun registration..

I just heard a radio commercial for Canada (I was listening to a Windsor, Ontario station this morning) that announced that the Canadian Government is now requiring full registration of ALL firearms possessed by private owners. Gun owners are being given two weeks to comply with this law. Pretty scary stuff. Isn't this the step that immediately preceeds confiscation?

If it comes to it - what do we do? Comply, register most but keep 2 or 3 hidden, or just ignore the whole thing?

Ignore the whole thing and hide 'em. "But Mr. BATF man all my guns were stolen last year."
So many guns to buy. So little money.

Wasn't there 18,000 people in Canada that refused to register and were protesting a while back? WE here in the states should just ignore the registery- as it is unconstituional and won't have any merit if all of us refuse to abide-that's what I'm gonna do! You can count on it!"Gun Ho!"

Here in the PRK, we have had to deal with these stupid and unconstitutional "assault-rifle" bans from years back. Let me tell ya, boys and girls, I just about popped all the buttons off my vest from all the Kalifornians who refused to register - thousands of 'em!!! (Sniffsniff) Don't look, I don't want ya to see a grown man cry...

Yes, a lot of us waited until the last minute to register ... the comuter back log was beautiful. It took over a year for me to get my card. Now, we are all waiting till the last minute to register our guns!Bonne Chasse! (My deer is still in the woods, but I almost walked right past him ... I got him moving though, just as it got too dark to see much of anything.)

I recently lived in NY and had a CCW in that state. The county required that you list all handguns on that permit (similarly if you took the same six months just to get the permit to own). I moved from NY several months ago and have since traded all of my handguns that were listed for something else. I only owned them for a few months before I had to move so I didn't get much time to get attached.
