Don't know much about the P-10, but I just bought a new P-12/45 and I really like it. Shoots very accurately, very well made and reasonably priced.I think Para-Ordnance builds a high-quality product.

My cousin worked for the kingsville police dept, and he speaks very highly of the p-10. I am going to get one.

First time I picked up a P-10 I noticed the bottom of the backstrap on the grip came to a fairly sharp point which bothered my ham-hand a bit, but that's just me. I like the Para-Ord guns, hear only good things about them, and if I weren't into other things would be very happy to own a Para-Ord compact, because I like compacts, and I like double-stacks. (Though my most recent purchase is an older Star PD .45, single stack compact, alloy & stainless, two-tone, ported. A nice piece, somebody took good care of this one and customized it. And no grip safety, thank you... )

offeror-- You're right about the Star PD. One of the finest little guns ever made. I had one several years ago and made the mistake of letting someone talk me out of it.

bsebast--Ah, a fellow PD appreciator... Yes, I just bought the nicest Star PD I've had the good fortune to run across on Gunbroker recently. It was reasonable, so I used the Buy It Now feature rather than miss out. I had one previously, but this one is nicer -- it's genuinely two-tone (the slide, slide release and safety levers are blued, while the frame and trigger are stainless). And somebody ported it. I put the Pachmayr grip on it but left the backstrap off to allow that gorgeous expanse of stainless to show -- almost looks like silver. I am going to give it a good clean and going over and then take it to the range for a real test. This is the nicest PD I ever expect to own, and a keeper.

I just purchased a para p-12 alloy. Nice gun! My dealer talked me into the 12 because its a little bigger than the 10. I also like the 12+1 of .45. I just took it out to the range and shot a 4" 10 shot group at 50 ft, first clip. Thats remarkable for me. The gun does kick some. I havent got a holster for it yet so I dont know how comfortable/concealable it is yet.

Very comfortable/concealable. I bought a Galco Avenger and Galco S.O.B holsters for my new P-12. Very easy to carry. I don't like inside-the-waistband holsters but if you're into those there are several brands/models that fit the Para P-12 and I'll bet the gun would be just right for that style of concealed carry.

Recommendation:If you buy a ParaOrdnance pistol, buy a Limited Series gun. It's a wee bit more expensive but you get factory upgrades that are worth more than the additional cost of the gun itself. I wish I had done the same when purchasing the P-13.
