? FIREARM SUIT ALLOWED TO PROCEED IN NEW MEXICO . . . A liability lawsuit> against Bryco Arms filed on behalf of a young shooting victim will proceed> to trial following the New Mexico Supreme Court's recent refusal to review> the case. The suit claims that Bryco is liable because the lack of a> magazine disconnect device or chamber-loaded indicator on its J-22 pistol> resulted in the accidental shooting of the teenage victim by a friend who> thought the gun was unloaded. A trial court originally dismissed the case,> but the New Mexico Court of Appeals reversed that decision saying the> charges against Bryco were "well within existing New Mexico products> liability and negligence law." The state high court's refusal to overturn> the appellate court ruling means the case will return to the trial court.Damn shame manufacturers and dealers can be held responsible for someone elses incompetence.

Maybe the "young shooting victim" should sue his parents instead for the incestous relationship that resulted in his birth. What a crock of dog snot!P.S. How's the back holding up??

And the teenager isn't liable for pointing the gun at his friend and pulling the trigger because..........?I'm SO SURE that the teenager was desperately looking for a chamber-loaded indicator on the gun when he picked it up too.
