I would just like to say I apologize for getting so upset about the previous topic, but I am very sensitive about that one, because it does strike home with me.I have always respected and enjoyed both your posts on topics involving politics and gun control.In the future, maybe we can all be more sensitive involving topics like that. I will do the same.Deal?

    Mr. Lasal......Just got a copy of your original reply from Competentone. At no time did I accuse you or any of your family of having swung from trees. Not any more so than any of mine did that is. My point was simply that we all evolved from Australopithicus and his lineage came from the trees. Mine, yours, EVERYONE'S came out of the trees. OK, maybe it was 50 or 60,000 years ago. That doesn't make it any less a fact. Mudge the peacemaker"Kick my *"? That'll be the day!!!!

Socialism is:"an economic system that ensures equal share of wealth to all working adults"I am 100% against handouts. What I want is:"an economic system that ensures equal OPPORTUNITY of wealth to all working adults"If I am not given money because I am lazy, GOOD.If I am denied a job because I am (insert race/religion/sex/etc. here), BAD.

    Sigh. That thread was really draining. Thank you Nunn for doing away with it. Sorry to all those I offended, but I am through with any threads related to that topic. I go on this board to learn and share what I know. I just want to talk about guns.See you all on the other boards...
