    I was in a place no young man should be in.We had been getting hit hard for several days.I was firing FPL and had that 60 rocking.I stuck my head down and probaly had three belts linked together.I heard a LOUD sonic ka-boom and it felt like my hand got shot.The gun had (guessing) a no-powder round that did not clear the barrel, or the gun fired out of time. And I was pouring lead down the tube as fast as the gun would cycle.M-60 all over the place and I got about two months vacation.
