I have a new in box Colt Gold Cup Elite 40 RARE 1 of 240 made in the custom shop. Two tone 1911 style extremely beautifull automatic. The gun serial # is within the the first 50 guns made. The gun is not listed in any bluebook or any other gun book that I have seen or herd of. It has no flaws in the metal or wood and is a perfect piece of fine craftsmanship. So what's it worth based on it's rarity and condition. Thanks for all of your opinions and replys.

Those Custom Shop pistols are not bringing the cheese they ought to. Harrison Carroll out in California has been trying to sell some El Rey's and El Jefe's for a while. Perhaps Lew Horton burned everybody out...It should retail in the $1400-$1500 range, but I imagine it would realistically top out at $1250 if you find just the right buyer.
