Here we are two years later and it was time for a follow up scan and I am very thankful to report that it was all clear. I am so relieved and have felt the need to share this news....

    William81, that is great news!!

My mother-in-law has to go in today for a biopsy (sp?) of her lungs. The doctor found a lump in her lungs and thinks it could be lung cancer. She smoked for 30+ years.

My wife is freaked out right now, this is scary stuff.

I think it's very support of you to stay with your wife through this terrible ordeal. I am glad she will be alright.

    AWESOME!!!

My Mother is in remission from malignant melanoma (surgery)

My baby Sister is in remission from Hodgkins lymphoma (6 mos. of chemo). She was diagnosed at age 13. She just graduated last month with three scholarships.

I definetly know how you feel.

Glad to hear it Will, Simon.
Though I may be bitter at god, I wouldn't trade the experience of living for the anything. True, we don't always check out when we'd like but I suppose it's all part of the great adventure. I couldn't tell you what the plan is, or where we're going after we die. But I do know that we're all going there together. In between that time and now we get to share a few laughs and loves, a few friendships and smiles.

Do something special for her to show her how thankful you are. Not thankful for the news, thankful for HER!!! Congrats

That truly is a lift. My Mom is in her 70s and has to take Cumaden (sp?) for a heart that operates at less than 100%. She recently got a good report and it gave me a lift that I didn't even know I needed. Sometimes this stuff weighs on you without your being aware of it and the relief is a real gift. I'm sure you both have a light heart today and thank God things go right sometimes. We sure need to appreciate it when they do.

William81, that's great news. As you all know by now, I lost the first Mrs NJRETCOP to cancer in 1991.

Mrs NJRETCOP II has had surgery for breast cancer and on June 14th (Flag Day)of this year, was five years cancer free and released from the doctors. God is good!!

We will include her and you in our prayers.

    Warmest regards,
    Charlie
