    A friend of mine was in the Marines and saw combat in Korea. He said they used to take prisoners until his platoon found 20 US Army guys with their thumbs tied behind their backs and shot in the back of the head on the side of a road. After that he said they didn't bother taking prisoners. Different time different world.
