When I was very young there was an ice cream parlor called Helen Hutchleys that served a flavor called Blue Moon. It is exceptional. I think the only place you can get this flavor is the midwest because I have never seen it anywhere else.

Have to go with any of the flavors that "The Parlor" in Jackson Michigan made. They closed a few years ago after some money problems. But I hear they are opening agin under new managment this spring.The best has to be "The Dare to be Great" 21 scoops of all kinds of ice cream. These arnt your average scoops either, their single looked like a double from your average ice cream place. Grab 3 of your friends and give it a try. The best part was it only set ya back 17 bucks.

Breyer's Butter Pecan.......My dog Duncan, (Westie)and I used to eat it every night until my heart attack last year.I had to give up ice cream and I am told that Breyer's stock fell by 30%, lol.-Charlie

My wife's recipe for homemade rocky road is a heart attack waiting to happen. But what a way to go! Just as well get a big bowl and stick it right to your hips, cause that's where it's going to end up anyway! When I was growing up, my mom used to make some sort of homemade ice cream concoction with Orange Crush in it. That was good stuff too!

Tip of the day for ice cream fanciers; Take three scoops of too cold ice cream, add 1/4 cup of milk, break up the icecream and churn in the milk. The result will be smooth, soft ice cream that doesn't taste diluted and can be readily gobbled up.This works well with Breyers.
