Going off to drop off earnest money and start the contract. Hope the house will pass inspections and won't be appraised for less than offer, would hate to start the process all over again.

We have a young woman who is divorced and raising 5 kids and the mother cleans our house. She has adopted us as parents I think. We have gone with her to a car lot to get questions answered etc just to help her out... She is a real hard worker and her ex moved her and the kids up here to Kansas from Florida and then got in trouble and thrown in jail. She hasn't seen him in along while.. No family at all here so we've been chosen as parents & grandparents I believe. [:)]

Any way her oldest is a 13 year old boy who has been wanting to learn about guns etc. So shes dropping him off here tomorrow afternoon & I will start a safety course with him on guns. I told her, first safety & then we'll go shoot. After I'm satisfied he is responsible & smart enough to handle a unloaded gun. He is wanting to see my firearms & knife collection..

Hope he is receptive. If he is not, I'll probably stop it right away.

Well the Harley shop decided the electrical problems with my Bike were a result of the Mechanic that worked on my bike when it got hit. and said there would be no charge to fix it, so I took it in, Three days ago, Hope it dont take as long to fix this problem as it was to put a fender and gas tank on it, it only took 5 months to get that job done..[V]

Going to see the urologist today for my Prostate cancer. Had a bunch of blood work done earlier in the week. Everything came back pretty good. My diabetes is still kinda high. Got all the test results back except the one I really wanted to know except the PSA test. I guess I'll find that out when I get there.

I'm heading over to the "Politics" forum.
As I don't have a Concealed Carry Permit that is valid at that location, I'm going in unarmed.

I know that im just a dumb newcommer to this board, but I admire all of you for the stands that you take on important issues, and now I have a place to direct my questions. I wanted to say thanks, and I wanted to let you guys know that I have started school again after a two year break and decided to reward myself with a nice rifle of some sort if I do well in my classes (definition of "well" to be determined after grades come in, and after reading your recommendations for a reward )I was hoping to get some opinions of what would be good to get. anything from a .22 up to a nice "match" rifle.thanks,Alex

I am heading out in about 30 min to go to Baltimore Maryland. I have to go to my brothers wedding. I am taking the truck that has had two bad transmissions, and blown the rear end twice.

Wish me luck that I make it.

From Maine to Maryland is about 800 miles oneway.

Heading out in a few minutes for our 2-day softball tournament.

It's a payout league, three of the 10 teams compete in Florida in the National Tournaments. We've been picked to give them a run for their money.

    Hope we can.

At 1600 hours EST I'll be appearing before the county court judge on a charge of criminal trespass. I am assuming that this is the result of taking the investigative reporter to the Gun Club.

Tomorrow I find out if I have skin cancer, two weeks ago I had a biopsy done and the result should be in tomorrow, my shoulder looks like they used a soysia grass plug to remove the suspected mole, one more reason to stay out of the sun folks, I was diagnosed with lupus ten years ago, and the shoulder in question has not even seen sunlight in twelve years

Yes Bee, sometimes I even drag the rolling block out for a shot or two.But there isn't a thrill quite like emptying a ninty round magazine in less than a minute.Gets the old heart ticking and the wallet flat in no time at all. But then, we ain't talking about no 10/22 doing that either.
