Winn Dixie grocery store.
That`s where I learned about
the batboy,half human,half bat,
that the government was gunna
use as a secret weapon
to flush out Bin Laden.
Lot`s of interesting news
in them kinda papers!
I also read about a guy
who started to bite into
a tuna sub from a resteraunt,
fortunatly he saw the tiny
mermaid in the sandwich..
she was still alive..
Wow,that was close!
This is my take on the cut and paste news. I got the news of Bill Ruger's passing from another gun forum. I hurried up and came here. No news yet. Checked the regular channels on TV nothing. But that was to be expected. Searched the web still no luck. My wife had business in Shreveport La. that day so I went to Kay Clark's shop, neither she nor her husband Jerry Miculek knew anything about Mr. Ruger's death. Kay picked up the phone to verify the rumor but without luck. I
went back to the other forum it had replys and new messages on the subject,plus links to news paper articles confirming the rumors. Came back here and information was starting to show up.
So you see they are all important sources for me, and I use what I need and delete the rest. I'd rather have too much information stale or fresh than too little, or worse none at all.

The way I look at it is that for some it's easier if they see it here. Many don't want to watch the news on TV since it generally is like Highball's scenario.
But being the old fart that you are I suppose you have to be able to complain about something or you wouldn't be you.
Did you see LTS's last post to you before it disappeared?
He said that there is some bug/flaw in his system causing it to overwrite/delete stuff on this forum. Ya gots ta be quick ta see his posts here, ah guess.

Actually I don't give a big fat TLynn butt about who or what is posted on here. I just read certain peoples posts anyway! I just got tired of the boring stuff on here of late. I like BlackRoses posts and wish I was as smart as her in posting pictures. I envy Classic because he has BlackRoses! LTS I don't know about yet. Mrs. Beast is my sweetie. I would hate to miss a post of Pelicans and Rembrandt has more gray matter than anyone on here. White clouder is or was always good for a good fight, miss him. For Gods sake don't anyone tell him I said that! There are a lot of others I like and some I dislike very much and don't bother to read anything they post. So to all of you who cut and paste, GO FOR IT!!!

Hell, nobody that I know of asked you to leave. Unless of course it was one of LTS's disappearing posts. Sorry to have missed those I admit.
But just like you I don't have a problem stirring the pot either here or anywhere else I decide to post at. HCT is but one place in a multitude of places I post at when I feel like it.
And like you I too get tired of the cut and paste - but I've learned to avoid them for the most part whether here or at HCT (which I sometimes think can outdo this place for cut and paste).
Rock on and have fun Rosie - and yes MsBeast is a wonderful lady, with a great husband and the nicest kids any mother could ever want. Anybody say a bad word about her and I'd go after them myself.

I can honestly say that I enjoy being able to get on gunbroker and get up to date news. Due to my work and school schedule, and lack of cable TV, its the only way I actually get news.
