    The Crown Royal disagreed with me a bit. Long time since I drank whiskey of any kind, let alone whiskey chased with beer. Found myself on my knees before the porcelain god.

    I really enjoyed it! I'm up for it anytime you are. Enjoyed the company, loved meeting Mark and Travis, and liked Sam! We are going to have to do that more often.

    You guys who didn't get to come missed a good time.

    Really was a fun evening, amazing how friendships on line like this can develop. Chris has been around Danny several times, and Chris and I have spent a bunch of time together at several gun shows and a canoe trip, but my first time to meet Danny. Chris and I had met Nunn back last winter at a show.

    Yet as we sat there and talked, it was as if we'd all known each other for years.

    Travis and Mark, David's sons, were most likly glad when we left! Really are nice young fellas, spent most of their time on the computer. Wonder where they got that?

    Then there's Sam, a year old Lab that knew we were dog lovers.

    We let Danny leave before I remembered I had a camera with us so he can still hide from y'all on the street. Had Mark take a picture of the three of us, I got one of Sam, and another with David and a couple of plaques he recently won. Beat ALL the other cops at a bowling pin shoot!

    Will post them later today. Our DSL is down and this slooooow dial-up is killin'me. Really have gotten spoiled to the faster moves!

    Again, a really great evening. Can't imagine how much fun we could have if we ever get a GB meeting put together.

    Oh yeah, we talked about all of ya! There are no secrets now! Did your ears burn? [:D]
