(Admin might want to pay attention to this post.)Both the auction (although I don't buy much) and this forum have become my favorite sites. I was thinking the other day, that it was an ad in Shotgun News that brought me to the auction site and subsequently the forums. How did the rest of you find your way here?

I did a search for online gun auctions (on Yahoo.com) when looking to purchase a used pistol in the spring of 2001. Been hooked ever since...

Hotbot search. I believe I was using the terms 'auction' and 'ammunition.' This was close to three years ago.

My hunting partners father set me on the path of "redemption". He figured it would be something to pass-time while layed-off this winter.

I found it by dumb luck. My friends and I were trying to figure out what gun to buy next and one just typed in "www.gunsandammo.com" and the story begins.

A chain of events:I ordered some stickers and plate frames from the NRA and almost instantly received a CheaperThanDirt catalog with their web address. I looked them up on the net. At that point I believe I clicked on an exchange banner for Gunbroker and found the auction site. At least, that's my best memory of the series of coincidences.I was gratified to see Gunbroker operated very similar to that certain other popular auction site that won't sell guns. It looked very professional, which kept my interest long enough to explore. Needless to say I was pleased to stumble onto this. I have bought my first gun, cutting through the FFL red tape to achieve a completed transaction.

It's called GunBroker.Com"Didn't take me long to find the Discussion Forums!

I found it by reading over the Beast's shoulder! Pelican gave me my name so I would stop using Timberbeast's and saying it was his wife (me) making the post!

Had only been selling on ebay for about 3 months when they stopped firearms sales. Indeed a sad day. Began using AA and GB when they went up. Have used GB exclusively for about a year now.

I was reading my Bible, and in one seldom recited verse it stated,' and on the 8th day God created GunBroker.com', that was when I put my Bible down and discovered it for myself.
