I have being informed to the FACT agents have being trained to sabotage gun shows in the following way.....

Replace guns with stolen ones

Replace ammo cartridges filled with C4

Place rounds in "unloaded" weapons ....

Replace parts with dangerously flawed ones .....

So check your guns serial numbers before repacking...

dont let the public open ammo boxes ,show inert samples and keep boxes
sealed .

Place plastic plugs in guns to prevent someone loading live ammo..

dont let strange people dissasemble your guns recheck always....

mark parts with color erasable magic marker ......

I will try to get more info, this got me into a cold sweat.....

    Other tactics ..hands smeared in salt ...
    spiting inside barrel
    sand ,,,,

    Carbide ring to scratch expensive Guns...

    Replace a .223R with a .30R in a filled magazine

    Drop gum goo inside the barrel ( beware of gUm rumeants near guns)

    The C4 in the GB trick, it just takes a 1/8 inch C4 ball to ruin a good a gun ..... A gum ball may do also the same if "nitrified".


    Just be alert ... this is not a joke ... is a serious matter ..

    I don't know how many gun shows JD attends, but in my experience, most of the pranks mentioned would be impossible to accomplish, and the rest would be very difficult.

    Example: How does one load a gun that is tied up with a cable tie?

    I agree with Nunn on this...But it has been a worry of mine for years.Never underestimate the power of hate..and gun people are truly hated by a sizeable number of people.
    I still see gun shows around here where ties are not enforced..I didn't like 'em either..until I thought about JD'S "paranoia"...and put 'em on.
    Merely being 'difficult' won't stop some people...course,beating the dog s**** out of someone caught slipping a round in a gun shore wouldn't hurt,either......

    God,Guts,& GunsHave we lost all 3 ??

    You have to give JD credit. A mind as devious and paranoid as his is truly a thing of awe. I have found his posts most enlightening and entertaining. If I ever have a 'what if' scenerio that needs to be explained you can bet Ol JD will have a fresh outlook.

    Well controled paranoia is not a handicap but an asset.....

    On military and defense talk there is a word used quite often .


    MITIGATION

    That is to lower the risk of a known menace.....
    I can keep this to myself ...coment nothing...safeguard my guns
    live by the motto live and let die ...but you never know the guy you
    may help with this info ,he may save you life in the future .....

    (mitigate for you)

    NUNN you never know ....untill it happens... just keep alert ..

    I can go to a gun show and go out with a weelbarrow full of guns
    and no one notices .....

    I was trained by FAIRFAX to test security (Counter-insurgency specialist GS15 )

    And I know there are guys out there quite better trained than me
    but with nasty anty-gun, anty-patriotic intent... in the future this
    guys can do quite damage to the pro-gun movement creating all kind of
    situations ,my hope is you can capture at least ONE and trace him to the "source", so some goverment heads can roll .....

    Don't fall for the guy acted alone s**t !

    JD sometimes I don't know if your crazy or extremely well informed. In either case...this is something worth noting. hell, it doesnt hurt to take the extra precautions anyway.

    The C4 has me puzzled. What does it do?? It must have a detonater to make it explode so what is the purpose? Tom

    C4 is commonly refered to as plastic explosive. Needs heat and pressure to detonate, i.e. the cartridge primer.

    In a barrel the detonator is the exiting bullet ...

    In can either ruin or rip open the barrel and hurt bystanders

    Inside a cartridge converts the gun to a grenade...

    Perhaps one of our resident explosives experts can explain, but I always thought C4 needed a combination of very high temperature and very high pressure to detonate: like a lead sheathed blasting cap with a powdered magnesium charge.

    I wouldnt have thought a little primer would have done the job. But like I said, maybe one of our "tactical breaching" experts can elucidate.
