    In related news, BERLIN (Reuters) - A German man who punched and killed his parrot for screeching incessantly has been fined $925, a newspaper reported Thursday."I'd had a row with my girlfriend and she left me. Charlie wouldn't stop screeching. So I punched him one. I'm so sorry. He was a good ol' bird," the defendant, 41, told a Berlin court, Bild newspaper reported.Police had been called to his home when neighbors mistook the parrot's screeching for human screams.The man had owned the African gray parrot with red tailfeathers for 11 years.

    I was quite afraid to eat it, mostly because I would probably be the first person in history to eat salami with Corn Pops.There might be unintended side effects, and I dont want to be a trailblazer!

    Well, I was eating some Corn Pops, y'see.....And when I was putting the milk back I noticed the salami.So I grabbed a piece and started back to my seat, but I barked my shin on the coffee table I was eating off of and dropped the salami in the Corn Pops.It floated like a lily pad.A big pink processed-meat lily pad

    When I eat salami with my Corn Pops I find that a good lager works better than milk, though ale will do in a pinch--just don't use stout (bad reaction with the varnish on the Corn Pops).
