Dallas Morning News.com-- The siblings of a 6-year-old boy admitted to killing their brother after his body was found early Tuesday buried in a shallow grave with a puncture wound in the neck, police said.
Authorities are holding Jackson Carr's 10-year-old brother and 15-year-old sister in custody, Lewisville police Officer Richard Douglass said. No formal charges had been filed against the children as of late Tuesday afternoon, according to Denton County Assistant District Attorney Lee Ann Breading.
"It's a homicide. They just confessed to the death and burying the child," Officer Douglass said. "We do not have a motive at this time."
The Tarrant County medical examiner's office says the boy died from a perforated jugular vein caused by a stab wound in his neck and of asphyxiation. A time of death has not been determined.
Jackson's body was found in a wooded area about 100 yards from his house in the.....
