Is this in bad taste? ( follow up )

A few days back I posted the subject question. I had mentioned how my wife got a little peeved and said it was in bad taste that I had picked up the bone from my steak and took a few bites at it. To those of you who read my original post, especially those of you who told me it was in bad taste, you'll get a kick out of this. It's a perfect example of "you'll get it in the end." 4GodandCountry I think you'll get a good laugh from it if you remember your response from the last time. I took my wife out for our official anniversary dinner over the weekend. When we placed our order, my wife and I both ordered a steak. We had a very pleasant meal and some very fine wine. At the end of it, I was very tempted to do what I had done previously. But with the thought of anniversary evening extracurricular activities disappearing, I chose not to. My wife, on the other hand, had other plans in mind. Much to my amazement, but not surprise, she gave me a Mona Lisa half-smile and picked up her bone and took a bite. When was the last time any of you saw two grown adults laughing hysterically in an extremely fancy restaurant?

Sounds like you got a keeper there.

If I knew then, what I know now.

    Brth729,

Read your first post on 'bad taste', in fact, gave a response. After reading the follow-up had to laugh. Would say both you and your wife enjoy life, and truly enjoy each others company. Yes, you both have keepers. Enjoy your time together, it precious.

When's the next time you go out for steak? Let us know if there are any interesting developments.

It's only bad taste if you gnaw, THEN growl at the waiter when he comes to take your plate away!

If you were to try a venison steak the way I cook it, I would defy anyone not to gnaw on it. I'd give you the marinade recipe, but the Army is currently storing it for me at Fort Knox.

    Shameless self-aggrandizement over.
