Quartering LARGE Game

has anyone here had any experience with the dressing and quartering of moose or brown bears. i assume that the dressing would be the same as with a deer or black bear, only on a larger scale. the quartering process is where i'm lost.
Rule #1: there is no easy wayRule #2: if,in fact, there is an easy way, it's mined (especially in Afghanistan or Kosovo!)

    Have quartered big Elk before. Use a wyoming saw, they work great.

    Quartering is not exactly what ends up happening. Especially if you have to haul it out on your back. Cutting it into sixths is mor like it. Two front shoulders, two hind quarters and cut the spine below the ribs. Then you still have some heavy pieces. A hind quarter is one heavy hunk of meat on an elk or moose. Not to mention the head/cape and hide. Bone it out and you save a lot of weight.
