ever wonder why bad stuff happens to you(us)?
for the longest time I thought it was some sort of punishment.
maybe a payback for something i've done in the past.
It was a comfortable way to look at it, as it allowed a pity party and denial.
But lately, I look at the bad stuff as a test. Like the Almighty is wanting to see how I deal with adversity, because he/she/it has something in mind for me.
I'm not a religious person, but I believe in a supreme power/entity, and I believe that it is testing me for a reason.
