Read this from the Washington Post!

An article on the M4 and AK-47. They actually got most of the technical info tight, although it is still a bit sarcastic and condescending. www.Washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A14195-2001NOV25.html Ok, it seems the link doesn't work, but the title of the article is "dressed to kill" and it's in todays edition of the Post.

Probably does not work because the address is wrapped around. Copy and paste the two sections and it will likely work just fine.

Did you look at the author? It's Stephen Hunter, who just popped on another thread here. He often writes about guns in the Post. I think his movie and restaurant reviews are much better than his novels, but that's just my opinion.

Is that the same Stephen Hunter who wrote Point of Impact? I didn't know he wrote newspaper articles also.I don't know how to cut & paste and all that fancy stuff. I'm doing good just to get spelling and punctuation right most of the time.

He's a newspaper man first, and an author second. His movie reviews are good and a welcome break from the distinictively undistinctive Post style. He's done one restaurant review that I know of, and it was good as well. I've read a couple of his books and have been a bit disappointed. Always goes to show that it's easier to criticize than create.
