    29th Day with No measureable Precip, and it was over 80 Yesterday. Clear Skies, and that Durn Bright thingy was up in the Sky, making me sweat while I was Salmon Fishing! Had to drink more beer!

    Today, it is over 70, clear skies, and that stupid Bright Thingy is up again!

    As we have all year, we got more rain.....Charleston SC area. I've lived here since 1977 and I can't recall this much rain over so many days, we have had huge rainfalls associated with storms before but than normal dryer summers. I'm going to check the NWS and see but I assume we are at record levels for the year.

    South Carolina Annual Precipitation Average - 49.84", 11th wettest in the U.S

    In Feb this story ran...

    This means we have now seen 10.46" of rain this month, and this is our wettest February on record.

    The old record of 10.17" in February 1998 is replaced.

    This is apparently also the first time on record where a driest month record (January) was followed by a wettest month record (February).
    Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

    Rained twice here in the last 3 months, once for 27 days and once for 45 days and counting. Not really, but feels like it. Lots of localized flooding. I'm about 20 miles west of Charlotte, NC.
