I'll try to get out tomorrow to shoot my Swede and the .22s with my family. Looks like rain the whole weekend so I'll have to play it by ear.

    How'd you do?

The weather was great, the range almost empty and lots of brass .45 brass left by someone else. Shot my HK and Armalite M4. Good time, the only thing that would have made it better would have been if my boys could have come along.

Nothing this weekend, girls weekend out. Renaissance Festival. [;)]

Speaking of the boys. Went last weekend, #1 son was able to go, and he took a friend. I took another friend, it was the largest group I ever "took" to a match. It was a 3-gun. Had a BLAST.

First time my son has beat me. No surprise, he did it on the rifle stage. He is still young enough to "run" 150 yards. I don't "run" so good anymore. LOL

He is getting closer to beating me with a handgun. Combine the handgun and shotgun stage, and he was only a quarter of a second behind me. One of these days.....

I shot my 300 H&H three times at a paper plate at 300 yards. The shots were inside a 4 inch group. Must be me or the weather. Not to happy about that. Shot the ruger .22 and made up for my bad shots with the 300. Then pulled out the .45 and noticed that the bushing that holds the screw that attaches the grip was loose so I shot 9 rounds out of it. When I brought it back home the bushing was stripped..

Where the heck do I get that part?

It's a 1977 colt gold cup national match..

    Bummer!

Sure did. Got my new Taurus .454 Casull broken in. Very fun gun to shoot. Can't wait to take it hunting for the first time.

Planning on going to the range in the morning. Wife wants to shoot her pistol (XD-9). I will bring a couple pistols and maybe the RRA.

Had My M44 & M1 Garand out today(sat.) What a difference. Just the trigger pull is a HUGE!! difference. I love my Garand, but the M44 is fun to shoot also(Its kind of neet seeing the fireball while behind it). I put 15 rounds the M44 & 16 down the M1. I am definely more accurate with the M1.
