Looking thru the pics of the hunting trip and I got to this one. I sure wish someone would have told me just how stupid I look wearing that hat. I woulda left it in the truck.

    Nobody looks stupid wearing a hat. People outdoors -- especially ahorseback -- who don't wear hats look stupid.

    its been my experience that people who wear hats look at least somewhat foolish about 90% of the time. very few people ive ever seen have chosen the right hat style for them and wear it well. i wear hats and none of them look particularly "right" on me.

    to my eyes, hats are utilitarian articles of clothing. they serve a purpose; whether it be to keep your noggin warm, keep the sun out of your eyes, keep the rain off your head, whatever. its a tool and in the tool world, form follows function. so rock whatever headgear suits the purpose you're trying to accomplish and think of looks only as a tertiary concern.
